Adrère Amellal is the Siwi Berber translation
for White Mountain. The hotel is at the edge of
the Lake Siwa in the western desert, it is 9
hours from Cairo, all surrounded by the
beautiful wind sculpted limestone, and 75 acres
of palm and olive trees. The Oasis is 4 or 5
hours from all the other western oasis of
Bahariya, Dakhla, Farafra and El Kharga.

Adrere Amellal or Gaafar has 39
environmentally friendly rooms, the rooms are
designed with a style of comfort and respect to
the environment at the same time. It has simple
furnishings carved from palm tree trunks
modeling all the ancient Siwi homes, stone
floors, there is also a shower, loo, and basin
with beeswax candles and Pears soap.

The hotel uses all the fruits and vegetables
fresh grown in the local organic grounds, where
lunch is served at the pool to savor the
delicious plates while enjoying the lovely view
and warm weather. The hotel also has other
different restaurants, some of them are studded
with salt crystals and candles, where you can
enjoy the authentic Siwi specialties and have an
amazing, romantic atmosphere all around you.

pool that is fed by an underground spring first
discovered by the Romans. The hotel can organize
Safari trips allover the western desert, as well
as guides allover Siwa to visit the landmarks of
it like the Temple of Amun, where the oracle
reputedly consulted by Alexander the Great,
Great Sea Sand Dune, Cleopatra's Bath and the
well known salt lakes over there.
