History
Mena house that overlooks the great Pyramids of Giza was
originally a royal lodge for Khedive Ismail, were he and
his guest rested when hunting in the desert or visiting
the Pyramids at Giza.
In 1869, the lodge was enlarged to host the guests
attending the opening of the Suez Canal including
Empress Eugenie wife of Napoleon III.
And in the early 1880s, the lodge was sold and renamed
after Mena the first king who unified Egypt.
The Mena House Oberoi has hosted many prominent figures
including President Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and
President Jimmy Carter,
Royalty like Prince Albert of England, the King of
Morocco, and King Umberto of Italy have also visited
this historic place.

and Sphinx and 10 minutes away from the Sakara Pyramids

overlook the beautiful serene gardens.

Palace, and the beautiful Mena House gardens.

Suites
Mena house has 13 Suites, all overlooking the
great pyramids. Guests in the Suites enjoy the
privilege of private butler service and 24hr
in-room dining.

Executive Suites which have a separate living
room and bedroom. These suites have beautiful
arabesque furnishing and original artworks.
The palace section of the hotel has 7 Deluxe
