Overview:
This trip is designed for those who are keen to get off
the beaten track and into untamed and ancient no man land.
We start in Cairo and begin our journey to the illustrious
Oases of Siwa. We visit the ancient fortress of Shali and
continue to the temple of the Oracle of Amon, the place
where Alexander the Great was crowned king of the world.
We rest and have a dip in the hot springs with their holistic
healing properties. We continue on to the great sand sea
to reach Bir Wahed. We drive over some of the highest sand
dunes (app. 80 meters) in the Western Desert and visit Fossil
Mountain. At night, we enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner
in the desert and in the morning, we start our crossing
of the desert between Siwa and Bahariya. We stop at Bahariya
Oasis; visit the White Desert with its surreal formations.
Do a stopover at the newly discovered valley of the golden
mummies. Along the way, we visit the Crystal Mountain and
the Black Desert. We continue on to Farafra Oasis and its
old mud brick town, and then head out to Dahkla and Kharga
Oases with their enduring ancient temples. Our last stop
before heading back to Cairo is Luxor. The intensity of
the ancient history in Luxor is unrivaled anywhere else
in the world. We cross to the west bank of the Nile to the
famous Valley of the Kings. We leave Luxor behind and arrive
in Cairo to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and depart
home.

Short Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive in Cairo, Transfer to Hotel.
Day 2 Drive to Siwa, Explore the city. Sleep in Hotel.
Day 3 Visit Siwa sites & temples, and the Great Sand Sea.
Camp under stars.
Day 4 Cross the desert to Bahariya Oasis stopping at remote
uninhabited oases. Sleep in i Hotel.
Day 5 Explore Bahariya oasis and its sites. Sleep at a desert
Bedouin camp.
Day 6 Tour White Desert and other sites. Drive to Farafra
and explore the Oasis, continue on to Dakhla and Sleep at
a hotel.
Day 7 Discover Dakhla Oasis and the surrounding areas. Sleep
at a Bedouin desert camp.
Day 8 Drive down to Kharga. Tour the Oasis and sleep in
Hotel.
Day 9 Travel to Luxor stopping at s and Dush Temple. Tour
Luxor and sleep in hotel.
Day 10 Visit Luxor sites and take the night train to Cairo.
Day 11 Visit the pyramids and tour Cairo. Sleep in Hotel.
Day 12 Transfer to airport for departure.

We drive down to Siwa Oasis. We reach
Siwa, take a beautiful stroll through
the streets of the city on a caravan
of donkey carts, and tour the town.
Sleep at hotel in Siwa.

We begin the day in Siwa. Visit the
ancient fortress of Shali, and then
explore the Temple of Amon, where Alexander
the Great was crowned King of The World.
We take a swim in Cleopatra’s pool,
one of the many natural springs that
contain holistic healing properties.
We venture to the Great Sand Sea in
the Sahara desert to Bir Wahed and drive
over some of the highest sand dunes
(app.80 M) in the Western Desert. At
the top of Bir Wahed, we gaze at the
endless dunes of the great sand sea
at sunset, a sight that forever will
be engraved in your memory. We visit
Fossil Mountain that is located next
to Bir Wahed. We spend the night in
the traditional Bedouin way under the
stars. Meals include: 1 breakfast, 1
lunch, 1 dinner

We leave Siwa behind and head towards
Bahariya Oasis via a desert track, crossing
remote uninhabited desert oases such
as, Setra, Nueimsa, and al-Arag. We
stop for some photo opportunities along
the way. Sleep in hotel in Bawaiti at
Bahariya Oasis. Meals include: 1 breakfast,
1 lunch

We start the day at Bahariya oasis.
Bahariya is the first Western Desert
oasis town from the northern side of
Egypt. We have tea in a tradition Bedouin
house, and then explore the beautiful
oasis. Visit the valley of the golden
mummies, the newly discovered tombs
in the desert. Spend the night in the
White Desert and enjoy a traditional
Bedouin dinner. Meals include: 1 breakfast,
1 lunch, 1 dinner

Next destination is the White Desert.
We visit the White Desert for the day
and reach Farafra Oasis. Farafra's old
town is a neighborhood frozen in time,
with its ancient arches and antique
alleyways. Visit the local museum in
the afternoon and head down to Dakhla
Oasis to sleep overnight in a hotel.

We reach Dakhla Oasis and visit the
medieval town of Al Qasr with its distinctive
architecture. In addition, visit the
ethnological museum, a locally supported
project. Sleep at the Bedouin desert
camp under the stars. Meals include:

We drive down to Kharga, the largest
of the oasis towns and the hub of the
southern desert district of El Wadi
El Gedeed. Kharga has rich mix of culture
and activities. It was founded by thirty
families, over 2,300 years ago. On the
outskirts of town lie the remains of
the Temple of Hibis. There is also the
captivating "Al Bagawat," an ancient
Christian burial ground. Sleep in hotel.

We leave Kharga behind and arrive
at the remote Baris Oasis and visit
the Dush Temple with its surrounding
sand dunes. We continue on to Luxor.
Luxor needs no introduction; it’s the
home of the fabled Luxor temple and
the Karnak Temple, Egypt’s most spectacular
temple complexes. The intensity of the
ancient history in Luxor is unrivaled
anywhere else in the world. Sleep in
hotel. Meals include: 1 breakfast

We spend the day at Luxor and tour
its magnificent sites, such as the Valley
of the Kings on the west bank of the
river Nile. Take the comfortable night
train back to Cairo. Meals include:
